The plan is a dental PPO managed by Delta Dental Insurance Company

The plan is a dental PPO managed by Delta Dental Insurance Company, which is the oldest and largest dental benefits plan in the United States. The program applies to active members and their families in 50 states and the Virgin Islands. 

Eligible family members include spouses, domestic partners, unmarried dependent children until the 26th birthday, and unmarried children of any age who cannot support themselves due to mental or physical illness. The plan will also cover grandchildren, stepchildren, adopted children, and foster children who are dependent only on the insured person.

Delta Dental Insurance Review. The dental insurance plan is divided into two parts: plan A and plan B. Plan A covers 100% of diagnostic and preventive services. The greatest benefit for Plan A is $1,350 per year. Plan B covers 80% of diagnostic and preventive services, with the greatest annual benefit of $1,000. 

During the first twelve months of registration

During the first twelve months of registration, both plans provide other services, including 80% of plan A’s denture restoration, 50% of plan B’s, and 50% of plan A and B’s fillings, root canal, and oral surgery. In the first twelve months of joining, the coverage of these two programs has expanded to include treatments for periodontal disease, crowns, dentures, and TMJ (temporomandibular joint dysfunction).

As a member of the dental insurance plan PPO (also known as Delta Dental PPO), you can choose to use any licensed dentist without notifying the PPO. You can also change the dentist without notice. But, for the greatest benefit, you can decide to use Delta Dental PPO.
